The Intensive English program is carried out by American Academy with the mission to help students develop English skills based on a proper teaching method and in a perfect environment. It has been highly appreciated by many schools in the city.
Along with the world’s economic development and integration, English has gradually become an indispensable luggage to life of everybody. Therefore, the investment in equipping young children with good knowledge and English skills to lay a solid foundation for their development in future is what numerous parents and schools highly concern. However, due to several reasons, the enhancement of investment in English courses at school, especially communication English periods is still limited.
Under the encouragement of the Ministry of Education and Training, permission and instructions of the Department of Education and Training of HCMC regarding the deployment of foreign teachers to primary, secondary and high schools, American Academy has carried out the Intensive English program which is specially designed to teach students basic communication skills with a great emphasis on listening and speaking, and knowledge about societies, people and cultures of several countries in the world … To do this, in addition to the construction of a friendly and self-conscious learning environment and the combination of study support and disciplines, American Academy also provides a group of English teachers from the North America to familiarize students with accurate pronunciation and intonation to become more confident in communication.
Main partners of the program are primary, secondary and high schools within HCM city. Foreign teachers are provided at a reasonable rate. Therefore, instead of spending time and energy to take children to foreign language centers, parents can feel more assured when children are taught English right at their schools with a curriculum adhering to the contents stipulated by the department of Education and Training.
